Bathroom Tile & Floors

Choosing bathroom floor tile

A bathroom floor has to handle water every day, so choose tile that is rated for wet areas and has some grip. Porcelain is a strong all-around choice in Florida homes. Large tile makes a small bathroom feel more open, while penny tile, mosaics and pebble floors bring texture and extra traction.

Shower walls and feature walls

Tile on the walls sets the mood of the room. Marble-look porcelain gives a classic feel, stacked vertical tile adds height, and textured tile looks stunning under soft light. A feature wall behind a tub or vanity gives a bathroom a clear focal point without tiling every surface.

Why layout and prep matter

Good tile starts underneath. Large tile needs a very flat surface, or the edges will catch the light and show every high spot. We plan the layout before setting anything, so cuts stay balanced and grout lines run straight from the floor up the wall. That care is what makes a tile job look custom.
