Walk-In Shower Remodels
A walk-in shower remodel can transform a dated bathroom. We build custom tile showers in St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay, including tub-to-shower conversions, frameless glass enclosures, built-in benches and large-format or mosaic tile. Every shower gets careful waterproofing behind the tile, which matters in Florida humidity.
Tub-to-shower conversions and custom showers
Replacing an unused tub with a walk-in shower is one of the most popular bathroom remodels in Tampa Bay. The footprint decides nearly everything else, so we start by measuring the space and thinking through how you will step in and where a door can swing. Built-in benches, shelves and shower niches need to be planned from the start, because they go in before the tile.
Tile and glass choices
Large-format tile gives a shower a calm, open look with fewer grout lines, while mosaics add pattern and grip on the floor. Marble-look porcelain gives you the veining of stone without the upkeep. A frameless glass enclosure shows off your tile and makes the room feel bigger, and a sliding door can be a smart choice where there is no room for a door to swing.
Waterproofing comes first
Tile is not what keeps water out of your walls. The waterproofing behind it does, and in Florida humidity it matters even more. Ask any contractor exactly how they waterproof the walls, niche and floor. We do not do plumbing work, so if your new shower moves a drain or valve, you will need a licensed plumber for that part of the job.

Walk-In Shower Remodels questions
Can you turn my tub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are a common project for us. We measure your space and plan the size, tile, niche and glass with you.
What is the best tile for a shower floor?
Smaller tile or mosaic gives you more grout lines and better traction. Whatever you choose should be rated for wet floors.
Do I need a shower door?
Not always, but frameless glass keeps water in and shows off your tile. We help you choose the style that suits your space.
