Why LVP flooring works in Florida homes

Prep makes the difference

Floating LVP clicks together and sits on top of the subfloor, so it depends on a flat surface. High or low spots can cause joints to flex over time. We check the floor first and prepare it properly, then plan the layout so planks run in the right direction and end cuts stay balanced at the walls.

Finishing the job

Clean transitions between rooms, properly undercut door casings and fresh baseboards make new flooring look like it was always there. If you live in a condo, check your association's rules first, because many require a specific sound underlayment. Replacing flooring is also a great time to update your trim and paint.
